Family. Sons: Chris, Andy, Dan and Zach. All of whom Tim had the distinct pleasure to coach (three at EC)
Athletic highlights
Elyria Catholic High School (1970-1974)
1970-1974: Elyria Catholic’s No. 1 cross country runner for four straight years.
1971: Class AA (now Division II) state cross country qualifier
1972: Class AA (now Division II) state cross country qualifier. Finished in 4th place individually (All-Ohio, top 20). Team finished second to Chardon, 105-115
1973: Elyria sectional champion. State cross country qualifier. Finished 4th place individually (All-Ohio, top 20). Team defeated North Robinson Colonel Crawford, 56-115, for EC’s first-ever state title
1973: North Central Conference track champion, 2-mile race
1974: NCC track champion, 2-mile race. State qualifier in 2-mile race. Finished 13th place.
Southwest Missouri State University (1974-1978)
1974: Member of 1st place team in NCAA National Cross Country Championships. Member of 1st place team in Missouri Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Cross Country Championships.
1975: Member of 4th place team in NCAA nationals. Member of 1st place team in MIAA Cross Country Championships.
1976: Member of 2nd place team in NCAA nationals. Finished 26th overall individually. Member of 1st place team at MIAA Cross Country Championships. Finished 14th in the marathon at the Kansas Relays.
1977: Cross country team captain. Member of 11th place team in NCAA nationals. Finished 53rd overall individually. Member of 1st place team in MIAA Cross Country Championships.

1978-1981: Girls track team coach. Took a team that had never won a meet to conference champions in Erie Coast League
1979-1981: Girls cross country team coach. EC’s first-ever girls cross country team (1978)
2000-2008: Girls cross country team coach
2003-2010: Boys track team coach. Had numerous regional and state qualifiers.

1982: Assistant at Sylvania Southview High School. Had a state qualifier in the 3,200 meters
University of Toledo
1982-1984: Distance coach. Women’s cross country team was 5th in Mid-American Conference (MAC) Championship meet, the highest finish in team history. Had a NCAA qualifier in the men’s 10,000-meter race in 1984.
